=======How to erase a blackberry 8100 - how to delete all data
>>>>>>> .r7754I had a problem, and spent some time looking for a solution. Since it was a pain to find out how to erase all my data (hard reset) on a Blackberry 8100 from t-mobile, I thought I would post the process here and save someone some time.
- In the device options, click Security Options.
- Click General Settings
- Press the Menu key.
- Click Wipe Handheld.
- Click Continue
- Type blackberry
Good luck!

Thank you so much for this, I have been searching for days online, and through cingular. I was in the AT&T store today and 0 of 11 associates could tell me how to do it (2 hours later) I just left.

After an hour search on BB website, which was no help, I considered using a hammer to clear the 8100; your advise worked perfectly - I appreciate the info!!!

Wow - thanks for the info. I need to exchange my Blackberry 8300 and was looking for a way to mass-delete everything. Works perfectly and is great for Mac users that don’t use the Desktop Manager.
