While not quite a perk this is equally annoying. One of my coworkers told me a story today about Kenneth Lay. He was working for an energy trading firm who were doing business back in the heyday of Enron. Some competitors and Enron decided to get together and build some houses with Habitat for Humanity. During the scorching heat of a Texas summer the wonderful CEO of Enron, Kenneth Lay, worked out he could this into a publicity show. He pulled up in his limo got misted with some water to make it look like he was sweating and had soe paint thrown on his clothes. After a few smiles, pictures with disgruntled employees and clients he jumped back in his limo with his ammo of good deeds for the month caught on film. Another group of people laid to waste by corporate greed.
